Today my AF is due. Its funny because I have NO symptoms of it showing. Usually I get cramps the day of or the day before and sore breasts at least a week before its due & it lasts until AF arrives. Still nothing !!! I have been feeling really tierd lately but that is about it !!! Although I had sex this morning with my husband and it hurt afterwards. Thats pretty unusual for me. I can't even explain the pain except that it's in the middle of my lower abdomen ! Anyways I just took and hpt and it was a bfn ! I used clear blue digital by the way. Anyway, my question is has anyone had any of these same symptoms or took a test the day AF was due and got a negative waited a few days and took another test and got a positive. All experiences would be appreciated. And also who has had inaccurate results with clear blue digital ? Thanks so much !!!

Yes, I have taken a pregnancy test, gotten a negative, and then tested 3 days later and got a positive. Apparently, just those few days made a difference, and I was testing in the afternoon, too.

I tested positive on day 25 of a 28 day cycle and it was right. I used Clear Blue Easy Digital. Some people will test positive later after a negative though. If you test early before your missed period, you need to test first thing in the morning. Good luck.

I haven't had that situation... however, I do know that sometimes the DIGITAL readouts need a little more hCG to determine a positive... because of the need to register the line! If that is the case... Good Luck!

Also, there are several reasons why someone might have a late period (or not have one altogether)! Stress, hormonal changes, medication... etc. Any of these above could affect your cycle.

As for the pain... I would see if it persists! Contact a doctor if you are concerned. The doctor is also able to do some blood work to see if your hCG levels are evident... showing you are pregnant!

GOOD LUCK!

If you ovulated late, you could still be pregnant. You could be feeling implantation pain.

This is completely unlikely, BUT: If the pain is severe, and your period does not arrive or is late, talk to your OB. There could be a problem with implantation (like something ectopic). Sometimes an ectopic pg does not show up on a test. I hope I haven't freaked you out, as it does not sound like that is the case here.

More likely, your period is just late or your ovulation was later than normal.

Sure, this happens to people all the time. Test again in 2-3 days and you may see a positive!

Good luck!!
