If you believe in God and follow Christianity then yes you should accept that God made people who they are, be they gay or straight. God loves unconditionally and therefore no-one should ever be holding up posters stating "god hates fags", by doing this they are taking on the role of God in stating what his logic is, which is very wrong . If you look in the bible the articles of love outweigh the so called "anti-gay" articles -- which dependant on the churches interpretation do not even exist. If you don't follow God, then you accept that genetics with the possibility of environmental factors influence the sexuality of a human being. Either way it shouldn't have to be an issue, sexuality is a natural and organic component of every human being and both God and Science acknowledges that, regardless of what church or researcher you ask.

Hmmmmm...alot of the homosexual community claims that they didn't have the choice of being gay. Its like asking a straight person why they like the opposite sex...they just do. So I am trying to keep this in mind to give as much as an self-educated person could. So I did some research...and what I came up with is this: Adam , as we all should know, was the first PERFECT man on earth. He named all the animals and lived on a perfect paradise. He got to a point and asked God to make him a campanion. So God (Jehovah) made Eve. Now my point with this is: God the creator of the universe made a PERFECT man and gave him a campanion of a woman. We were created straight. I couoldn't imagine that God would sit there and determine if we are going to be straight or gay (which recorded in many scriptures 1 Corinthians 6:9 is considered a sin) So my answer is no he didn't make people gay but we were created straight.

Who cares? God loves us no matter what. John 3:16 does not say excluding homosexuals. WHOSOEVER believeth in him. I'm so tired of anti-homosexual christians spreading hate. Do they even read the bible?

I don't think the argument works in the reverse just because God originally said man go with woman and woman go with man. and in the bible it's described as an abomination the only other one besides having sex with animals. i have nothing against gay people what so ever and i don't believe its a choice but those are the reasons i don't think the question works reversed

Im a christian, and your answer made me smile. We as Christians often use the Bible and God to reflect our own fears.(( Most TOTALLY ignore the ''judge not least ye be judged "" thing.))As for God hating anyone, pfft. he came in love and died that way,he even loved his enemies,so I believe we Christians should REALLY follow that.

That depends on what you determine the words of Simon & Garfunkel to mean when they said, "I'd rather be a forest than a street".

Absolutely...that's why (contrary to popular belief) there's nothing in the Bible that condemns ANY form of sexuality.

Your assuming that im gay which i am not, but for the sake of argument i think god makes us to be with the opposite sex because why else would he of made Adam and Eve, male and female?

Right on. Exactly correct.
Being LGBT is not a "preference" it's how one is and once folks really "get it" rhetorical questions like yours won't need to be asked.
