Yes, we consider our 3 dogs part of our family & we love them dearly. I have this posted on our fridge :-) A friend of mine emailed this to me :-)
To All Non-Pet Owners Who Visit & Like To Complain About Our Pets:
1. They live here. You don't.
2. If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. (That's why they call it "fur" nature.)
3. To you , it's an animal. To me, he/she is an adopted son/daughter who is short, hairy, walks on all fours and doesn't speak clearly.

You better believe they are family, in fact they are better than family!! they don't give they're opinions at least not verbally and they don't tell you what you should do, and they love you unconditionally! And when you go out you don't need a sitter for them.

Yea, Max is part of our family. but he has to live outside because he gets really cranky....

O yes , They are outdoors more than in ,but I do have them in and they relax with me. They get their rawhide chew treats.
