They do produce Sugar. They were once good friends of ours. Many Floridians may go back to Cuba and export capitalism and create a better life for all. I believe the people would appreciate freedom.

The infrastructure is in deplorable condition in Cuba. The standard of living is so low that it would take hundreds of billions of dollars to bring them up to the American standard. They will never become a state. There are no benefits to America to make it a state and it won't happen. A great place for tourism eventually. But certainly no better than the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Mexico and Central America, or the West Indies. So there is no reason to start donating tax money to that lovely island.

o yes, lets just adopt all the poor helpless countries. Don't we have enough problems we need to worry about America not anyone else. It should not be our problem that 1/2 the world is filled with people who do have the power and leadership we do.
