You should try to play catch with someone for aboutt 15 minutes a day. That will strengthen your arm in a natural way. It doesn't sound like much, but it's actually about 100 throws.
You may also have poor throwing technique, but obviously we can't tell over the internet. You can work on putting more of your body into your throws - crow hop from third, charge balls hard in the outfield to get a bit of a running start on your throws, and cut down the distance you need to throw.

You need to find a very good softball coach who will give you the best tips for conditioning your throwing arm. Stand in front of a full-length mirror in a T-shirt, arms hanging down and palms facing the mirror. If your lower arm bends away from your hips at the elbow quite a bit (most girls' arms bend this way), this could be part of the problem. Almost all guys' arms are straight.

1. You are probably trying to throw too hard.
2. You are not throwing correctly.
Here's a way to practice throwing (I hope I can explain, it is much easier to demonstrate.
Your arm needs to be almost fully extended when releasing the ball. The speed and distance comes from 1) your shoulder and 2) your wrist. Without using a ball, practice your throwing keeping your arm extended as far away from your body as possible. Think of your arm as a pendulum. Throw almost over the top with your arm extended upward and outward. Bend your back and release the ball as far out in front as possible. When you release the ball, snap your wrist to increase velocity. Remember, your arm has very little to do with throwing. Think shoulder and wrist.

Hmmm. I play softball but i dont know why it would hurt your arm to throw just from 1st to 3rd base?
You need to work out your arms more though. More muscle, the more powerful your throw is.

hello , From being a coach for the 10u team fastpitch girls softball best way that I get my girls to throw far is to ..1) Put throwning knee on the ground and bend your other knee where your foot is on the ground. get 5+ balls lay beside you and throw ball from a short distance and then gradually move to the position that you are triing to achieve.2) way is get a weighted ball and throw it a few times a day to build up shoulder muscle and the tricep to where you can get that distance that you want. , If that doesnt work the the base/position that you want to ply so badly maybe not ment for you, try something else.. Gotcha

I know the feeling.I played for over 15 years and even when I first started playing I was afraid to 'let loose' of one, because it would hurt my arm. That's how I became a pitcher. The best thing to do is loosen up before a game.Throw the ball around to loosen your throwing shoulder.Massaging your arm also helps.
I hope this will solve your problem.
