Since 9/11 there have been zero terror attacks on USA soil. Is it because America is fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them over here.

One thing is for sure. Every month there are 1,500 less islamo-facists that can wage war on our soil.

I recently heard someone on TV (can't remember who sorry) who said. we can do all we want to prevent another attack, but as we all know, where their is a will their is a way. What that means is that no matter what we do their will be chances of another attack. I don't think we will ever see something to the magnitude of 911 but i think we are no safe. fighting them over there is a myth. Al Qaeda again is NOT a band of mercenaries running around. al qaeda is an idealism they can recruit anywhere anytime and create a new cell. Wire taps would have been correct if they had been done by the law. There is nothing wrong in making it public and hiding the names of those you want to put on wire tap. but to find out we are being watched? no way. we have constitutional rights. If the government wants to remove those rights then it should impose a martial law (good luck with that) if you think that Bush is a fake and he is lying to you can you wire tap his line? ... the rights are the same for everyone.

terrorists do not have a target...it's not like they go around wearing badges that say, "im a terrorist"

They can emerge from any location/time period, so the war is going to cost the U.S. billions of dollars at the expense of future generations

After Iraq was invaded, the terrorist threat didn't end - London subway bombings, potention airplane liquid chemical bombings, etc.

If you think Bush is ridding the U.S. with terrorism, as did people think with the Bush in the 80s, you have some major research to do

Prexy Bush and the 'Publicans don't support the troops - they hate the troops! So much so that Lt. Bush deserted his champagne unit in Texas by "transferring" to Alabama and not showing up there. (and which,as Prexy, sent to Iraq) Darth Cheney, Wolfie, Rush 'pimple butt' Limbaugh, a vast majority of the chicken [war] hawks - the ones who use our troops to get richer by their sacrifice at the public's expense, never served one day in the military! Listen...they are all labeled terrorists there. They are fighting their war the way they know how with their capabilities...wrong...yes but there are millions of "terrorists" in the Middle East the way the label is thrown around.

Stop with the worry of attacks here...it ain't happening. 43,000 people die on Americas roads a year. Should we all stop driving? This is life, people will die from war, gang attacks on our streets and bee stings.

So they got our two greatest towers 6 years ago. I am still sad and feel the loss as much as anyone. We took two countries over it, Iraq; Afganistan. Many years ago we took out two major Japanese cities with two atom bombs...killed 140,000 people.

The prior (Islamic) terrorist attack on U.S. soil was 1993. That means they go about 8 years between attacks. To prove that we have reduced the threat at all, we need to wait two/three more years to actually evaluate the claim.
