People of all ages place sport heroes on pedestals. They admired and dream of being on such a pedestal, yet many sports heroes are also seen in the news being arrested for possession of drugs, bar room brawls, and driving while intoxicated. Do sports heroes have the right to private lives? What is your opinion? Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper stating your position and supporting it with convincing reasons.

When they get INTO a sport that they know is nationally covered by the media, they should know they are going to be covered extensively on and off the field...Don't make excuses for Vick...

Yes they do ..after all many do have families...would you like it if every where you went there was someone their to take picture?? or something else

They have private lives. It's just that when they do screw up, it affects the team, and that's news.
