im 14 and thinking about getting either a lip, nose, or eyebrow piercing. which one would be best?

What piercing would be best for a 14 year old girl? the one you get when you're in college.

definately nose.
I was going to get a nose piercing (I'm 14 too) but I decided I'm going to wait for a few months to see if I still want it. Don't do it right away, wait a month or two and if you still want it as badly as ever, then get it.
Don't get eyebrow, I don't think that people should get eyebrow piercings unless 1. They KNOW it will look good on them, and 2. if you're at least 16.
As for the lip, you have to have a certain look to pull that off. My friend was going to get her lip done, but then she got a job and they don't allow it. Oh yeah, any piercing other than ears and nose, and sometimes even nose will make it really hard to get a job.

personally, i dont like face periceings, because if you decide you don't want it, the hole will esentially always be there. i think the nose ring is the best though. the lip can be a little wierd and akward when it is supposed to be a special event or "dressed up". i think the eye brow piercig is interesting, but not that attractive. nose piercings are more common and less distracting, so people are staring at you when you try to talk to them. yeah, id go with that. but be sure to take care of it. some people get some nasty infections with nose pierceings.

Just ear piercings would be the best for a 14 year old.

None, wait till your older. Does your Mother know about this and is allowing it? If so let her decide. But I must say the lip and nose piercings look gross.

There aren't any reputable piercing establishments that will pierce anything on a 14 year old girl.
You might be able to find one that will do it if you bring your mom along...
If you have your mothers permission, or fathers, then you should talk this over with one of them. I don't think anything is appropriate for a kid your age, except your ears.

i got my nose pierced for my 14th birthday. didnt hurt and i still have it. my 15th birthday was a few days ago and i wanted my lip pierced but my parents said no. so what ever floats your boat
I read someone commented you cant blow your nose well yes you can. i got mine done with a screw stud now i have a ring in and it dosent effect that at all.
and people dont get infections when taken cared properly.
and when people think it makes you look like a tramp they are closed minded and have no taste and arent cool.theyre probably old

It's perfectly OK for a girl your age to get your ears pierced. NOT your nose, NOT your eyebrow, and NOT your stomach.

I prefer earlobes only. Those piercings may look cool and sexy. However, they have downsides too. For example, the piercing in your lip and tongue may distruct your speaking and your words will become awkward and funny. When you put it in nose, I feel like I am seeing a cow.

I'm 46 and would have to say the nose, I know a lot of girls with piercings and they haven't had any problems with infection with the one on the nose. ;)
