I dont eat meat and dont kill spiders. I think it's pretty wrong to kill things if you dont have to - and you almost never have to. But i'm wonder how it applies to ants. If there are like thousands of them coming into your house, obviously you cant just let them or they'll take over. But if you dont want to kill anything - just cause it's alive what are you supposed to do about invading ants? It's like a life is a life - even an ant. But I dont know how to get rid of them without spraying them with windex!

If you just sit around killing ants, I think that is wrong, but if you are walking and you step on an ant on accident, no big deal. When I was younger and I killed an ant, I would cry because I would think that it was a mommy with little ant babies and I took away its mother. Now it's no big deal.

No, it's not wrong at all. If it is purely out of not wanting ants in your house, eating all of your food that's your right. Now if you're somebody who gets some kind of sick pleasure off of killing harmless bugs or animals I would then say something because that IS wrong, no matter what anyone says. I'm glad you are one of the handful of people who actually respects other forms of life. That's good :) Keep it up

Normally I don't kill bugs, but if they're invading my home they've got to go. I will catch most bugs in a cup with a piece of paper and put them out, but if they move too fast to catch, like most spiders, it's squash city. What alternative do you have to killing the ants coming into your home? You can't let them in and let them get all over the place.

I don't believe it is wrong to kill ants, as long as you have a good reason. Now, if you are sadistically ripping heads off hands simply so you can enjoy a few moments of their pain... that is a different story.

Kill the ants. Would you let termites eat your house and bees infest your attic? Nature doesn't allow everything to die a natural death.

The only thing that "can" be killed is Life. Thou shalt not kill. Look at the 6th day of creation and you will see that God had a plan to prevent "any and all" killing of Life.

When I was a kid, I would kill the big black ones (the carpenter ants) with a screwdriver. I would decapitate them and laugh when the try to bite me, but they couldn't get through my skin.
Don't worry people, I didn't turn into a serial killer or anything. Boys will be boys.
