What states/cities that actually give money to African American students that goes toward higher learning? I know MANY white students that get funds from these "so-called" black organizations,(heck I know more of every race(except for blacks) that get money from these organizations)
When I filed a report, they couldn't even tell me the percentage of African American students that actually get money from them.
All I'm saying is that EVEN BLACK ORGANIZATIONS are helping everyone but blacks, The UNCF should be called NO BLACKS COLLEGE FUND (NBCF).
So all of you racist white bastards that think MAJORITY of blacks get money from them, YOU ARE WRONG, YOU'RE GETTING ALL THE MONEY. Their is a HIGH percentage rate of African American dropouts in my area, Why? because NO ONE is helping to fund their education, (at least that was what was reported)
I've gotten scholarships but never from UNCF or NAACP. They are "white washed" and I think we need a new REAL black organization.

Where I'm from, the MAJORITY of people over these so-called black organizations aren't black.

*Reason as to why I said "white-washed"*

Still my question is Where exactly are black kids getting funded by these organizations, I'd sure like to know.

gurl i know your cry! I feel the same way sometimes. The black organizations are giving money to every $%$# body but everybody ain't giving money to us. What's up with that? I may be called racist but so what-more black dollars should go to BLACK students I mean the uncf sends those cards out to people with a black student on the front and anybody can get the money I'm not trying to down the uncf but that money should be all for us just like hispanic groups have money JUST for them. be careful asking your questions gurl cuz they'll delete your account in a minute!

I think it's just a simple case of judging the whole from a select few. Like a white person judging all blacks to be uneducated cocaine dealing welfare sponges because of dealings with a select few in that category. Same goes for an educated black family living next to a bunch of white crack hoes. Or 10 mexicans who pile into one pickup truck. It's not the entire race that should be judged by those select few...they just give the race a bad name or a bad rap.....and that stinks! I'm very lucky that I have never been prejudiced against and I hope never to personally encounter it. I know that I have racist thoughts once in a while and know that I go beserk when I see the mexicans down the street leaving their beer cans on the lawn while they crank up their freekin' circus music and letting their chickens run amok through the streets. But to think that every black man who I see drives a Mercedes must have stolen it is just asinine. I hope you really do see the good in every race and in every one....I think it would make the world a much easier place to live in.

There are plenty of "black scholarships" but if nobody claims it they give it to somebody that wouldn't normally qualify such as a latino or white student. Thats why they tell people to sign up for absolutely any scholarship, even those they don't qualify for right away, if nobody else applies they get it. Actually the amount of African American women going to college is increasing by leaps and bounds, African American men unfortunately continue to have low success rates at graduating from high school and attending college. There are scholarships for just blacks, but they aren't extremely popular, the more popular option is based on how much money your family makes, which is unfair... A lot of people do not get help from their parents, yet they have to claim them for scholarships and financial aid.

Stop. The organizations you would contact for assistance are financed by our tax dollars. They have already made that money disappear. State and federal resources are a little more accountable and your time would be more wisely spent pursuing those venues. Did you really think ''Black Organizations'' were going to help you?

Look at the white people who are in denial. I suppose they also think the NAACP really does help black people. It's all a put-on. It's a show to keep black people complacent.

"Their is a HIGH percentage rate of African American dropouts in my area, Why?"

Now that's funny!

This is a bad place to air out your dirty, racist laundry. Contact the organization, or don't give your money to support them.

How is it possible that whites get money from black organisations? Unless the whites were part black themselves, this makes no sense.
