Yes I believe these words for they are true
You can bet on them for sure
If you get fooled twice
The first time the other to blame is precise
But if you get fooled the same way again then you did not learn your lesson and take sound advice.

Haroula,
you are Greek; therefore, words have always been synonymous with dual messages and true meanings while questions continuously arise. I believe the words display a truth; but, I question whether these are "wise" words.

Given the context of your question and the fact that I consider you an on-line friend, I would say "yes" - these are wise words. Good for you for standing your ground by the way.

Gerry :)

Yeh, It does seem to work out that way when you give someone a second chance that you know in your heart you shouldn't. Shame on me. Watch your back with that type.

yes.
the thing is we fall time &time again in love only to be plunged into loneliness&heartbreak, love leaves the soul to bleed,
a hunger an endless aching need,
it's the heart afraid of breaking,
that never learns to dance,
it's the dream afraid of waking,
it's the soul afraid of dying,
that never learns to live.

what's love but a second hand emotion
what's love but a sweet old fashioned notion
who neads a heart when a heart can be broken.
