I have my condo in Orlando Florida.
How should I go about getting it rented?

If you open it Craigs list or anything like that you are only asking for trouble. You didn't say if this was a permanent thing or just temp. It makes a big difference in looking for people. You can try a property management company if you are talking long term or you could try local bulletin boards like at the grocery for short term.pp

Call a REALTOR who will ask for somewhere between a 1/2 month's rent up to 10% of the annual rent as a fee.
Or go to http://orlando.craigslist.com and write your own ad and check your own tenant's credit and background and past homes for how they kept their apartments, deal with your own tenant and remember to send the letters that apply at the right times to get the deposit to possibly be able to be used for repairs. Deal with getting the carpet cleaned and the condo ready for rent, maid service in to freshen it up. Don't forget to deal with the condo and if they really want you to rent it out. And oh ya if you have to evict them be sure to ask all of us for more help.

I work for a home association in a coastal area. One of our owners has a page on VRBO.com. We get a lot of calls that lead to bookings for our other owners also.
