Easy question. YES!!!

2007-08-25 11:51:00 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 2 11

No, it wouldn't make the world a better place. Of course, the fact that the president of the United States performed an illegal act through overwhelming military power toward dubious means doesn't change. If the president of Nigeria did any such thing he would be rotting in prison by now, but we don't keep around all those nuclear weapons for nothing.

Whether the general population of the United States thinks lying in UN, attempting to fabricate evidence, and breaking international laws to the joy of religious fundamentalists everywhere (regardless of their religion, ironically) is legal or not, the opinion of the rest of the world is clear... The whole fiasco is a spit on the flag of this nation, and a lot of people would be stared and pointed at whenever they step outside the borders of the United States for a long time to come.

Yes, but better yet would have been were they not born in the first place.
Better yet would have been a population that would have seen them for what they are and not voted for the criminals to begin with.

You cannot hate the criminal without pointing the finger at the person who armed it and empowered it.

No. They really haven't committed war crimes. I'm not a Cheney fan whatsoever, but do think that Bush did what he thought best at the time. Remember, we're still a free country. It could be different.

It makes no difference if what the Bush admin. did/does qualifies as illegal. Their conduct is unprecedented. No other administration in the history of the US has had such a blatant disregard for traditional conservative values, policy, and human life overall.

They won't be going to prison for their actions, but they will answer to a force much greater than liberal/conservative nonsense when they die. And if Bush thinks he's in the clear because of his "born again" BS, he's got another thing coming

Clinton didn't go to prison for any of the 'accidental deaths' or all the missing information that came up missing in all their scandles, or even lying under oath, so why should Bush?

The world is what we make of it, Bush and Cheney came from the same gene pool that you did. Someone else would get paid to do what those two did if you just got rid of them. The problem lies with the USA itself... we are ignorant and ruled by crooks.

You really need to stop smoking that hippie ****, it's clouding your mind.

since the only politician to admit to committing war crimes is John Kerry he should be the one rotting in prison.

If you are going to make stupid assertions like this why don't you back them up with facts.

No, but Bill and Hillary Clinton sure would be prime fodder for the local prison, their anti-American agenda and the damage they have caused to America, and that WE the American people now have to clean up, is just uncalled for, so I think Bill and Hillary should be put in the slammer for good.

Only if all their monstrous, blood, oil, and money sucking corporations were dismantled as well. It spreads out deeper than Bush and Cheney, so all involved would need to go to prison for war crimes as well.
