pH should be between 6.5 and 7.0.

I would certaining prefer my water to have a pH between 2 and 9. A pH lower than 2 would be too acidic and may cause burns. A pH above 9 would be too basic and may also cause burns.
BTW, our stomach acid has a pH around 1.

7.0 is the pH of water... just regular old water.
