May 30th, 1964. Three days before high school graduation. My pal, Pat Armstrong, and I rode our motorcycles ( My Whizzer, his Simplex) to Roosevelt lake and fished all day till school was almost out. Then we rode back into town and played pinball at Dave's Diner with Mary Jean Bryer and Jill Lyons.

Well, I sort of did it Friday, no one knew that I was taking a vacation day from work...because normally if everyone knows I have the day off I get bumbarded with chores and errands, so I took the day for myself and played hooky and did nothing at all! And it felt great!

Well, let's see.
A few weeks ago I decided to just blow off the afternoon and took the girls to lunch and to the local mall for a movie and shopping.
I don't know if it was hooky exactly, I guess i just said buh bye and went. :)

el oh el@ Bridget... i've got in no way performed hooky...yet my acquaintances want me to w/ them soo undesirable...their plan is to deprave me earlier I graduate. Oh, and my mom is a variety of hardcore mothers who make constructive u pass to college known. She could in no way %. me up (plus i'm a foul liar) Yeah, my first examination is Friday...my college makes us do classification day first then we take the examination something of the day...it somewhat is a huge variety of exciting (no longer)...next Mon-Wed (tests) we get out @ 11:30...

It's not the last time that I played hookey; but the best time I played hookey!
Two of my buddies and I got a bag of avacado's and some salt; went to the creek and ate them every one! It was a great day; sunny; warm and with lots and lots of laughter! Good times! Nana

hmmm last year on the last day of school and it was becuz I didn't finish something for a teacher and I would of had to do work all day

I don't know. I work for myself, out of my office at home. I have a little one at home (as in not school age yet), so if I'm not working . . . I'm still working. =)
