Tell me really did he give Almonds? then why did I not get some. LOL
Well, I got your question I think this piece is total translation from some Indian version anyways if there were god then I don't think he would have been so unfair giving almond to toothless people. So that proves there is no God and it is just a man made concept.
Life is all about choice - maybe the toothless people are dumb enough to choose almond and forget their dentures :-)

May be, the toothless have paid the price of almonds to God in the form of some inadvertent good deeds or tapasya in the past, before they lost their teeth!!
Also, the toothless might have foolishly assumed almonds to be soft like jelly.

At the end of the day you can grind almonds down and still consume them if you have no teeth.
