First spray it with Lime Away if it still doesnt budge try Liquid Wrench it may take more than one application.

They make a special tool for removing the cartridge. A plumbing shop or hardware store may have it. If you get the stem out, check for the brass housing. I have removed the stem without the housing coming out. This gets real challenging. Good luck.

Are you sure it's stuck? you have to have a special tool for this, it costs about 25 bucks, you can't take the valve out without it. Don't reef on the valve you could damage it.
I have one hanging on my shelf, yes I know it's a rip off but, so's everything else.

You can't just "pull" it out.
There is a simple tool available that screws into the unit and will back it out with relatively no effort.
I bought mine at Home Depot.

Spray a lot of WD40 in there and let it sit for a while before trying again.

try using some WD40 let stand for about 30-40 min. then use a pipe wrench

pour some CLR in to it, probly stuck with lime
