With that 300W power supply, you will most likely just get a black screen. In case it is able to power your new card, power supply may run HOT at or near full load. Better get a 350-400W power supply that has stronger +12V rail (18 amps or higher). If it has the same +12V rating as your 300 watter, it would not be any better.

do not risk it. the card is minimum of 350 watts for a reason. if you play games then what will happen is the card will heat up requiring more power to cool down which could after a while start to fry kep components in the system. its better safe then sorry. replace the PSu if you plan on getting anything above the minimum on the card you plan to choose.

Requirements are a form of standards. Not sure what you mean by the term "w" , With your graphics card software it most likely has other software on the instal than the basic card software itself, Majority card installs will work with a min 286

300 watts is not enough power.
Don't put ur video in ur pc.
Ur pc will freeze if u do it.
change ur power supply and buy a decent one like 700+ watts
