Another team was shut out during an extra inning game in which they had 15 hits.

Milwaukee's 31-hit effort on 28-August-1992 is the most by one team since 1957. There were probably a few other games that had that many or a handful more back in the Olde Dayes.

Toronto's David Wells, suiting up for Los Angeles this weekend, surrendered the last five hits. The Brewers won easily, 22-2. Box: http://www.retrosheet.org/boxesetc/1992/B08280TOR1992.htm

Um, the Texas game was nowhere close to the most hits. There are teams that have had 28 singles in a game, so there are certainly teams have had 29 hits in a game.

Milwaukee has had 31: http://www.baseball-almanac.com/box-scores/boxscore.php?boxid=199208280TOR
