Fourteen hits is the most by a team while being shut out in a 9 inning game.

Milwaukee's 31-hit effort on 28-August-1992 is the most by one team since 1957. There were probably a few other games that had that many or a handful more back in the Olde Dayes.

Um, the Texas game was nowhere close to the most hits. There are teams that have had 28 singles in a game, so there are certainly teams have had 29 hits in a game.
