my g/f wakes in the morning with small dark bruises on her wrists and arms which match each arm perfectly.She has previously found them on the roof of her mouth and palms/soles of her feet . They seem to appear to quote "confusing ,strange ,often sexually orientated lucid"dreams.The bruises are not painful but are very dark in colour as if inflicted with a lot of forces and are nearly all the same size about the size of pea. Can anyone shed some light on this please

I don't know, the only thing I can think of is a sleep disorder. REM sleep disorder? Ask a doctor.

She may be thrashing or moving around when she has those kinds of dreams, which causes the bruises. My brother used to do that and he never knew that he was moving around. I recommend seeing a doctor though, just to make sure there is no medical issue there.

....um....she might knocking into something when she sleeps or....god forbid....doing them to herself or someone doing them to her...but because of her mouth,feet, palms,and that they're not painful...I'd ask a doctor.....seriously ask a doctor they're opinion...
