You can start right away, but how long does it it take to get pregnant all depends on the womens body and the mans sperm count,it can take weeks, months,or even years.I've been trying for almost 4years now and had no luck and now the doctor is thinking about putting me on clomid, hope you have better luck.Baby dust to you!

I was on the pill for over 5 years when I decided to have a baby. It took 3 months being off the pill when I got pregnant. Though, I'm sure everyone is different... like there are many women that get pregnant while taking the pill. So, there's really no telling.
We're trying to get pregnant again.. so it's been 3 months now since I've been on the pill this time around. Not sure if I'm pregnant yet, though... it's too soon to know.. I'll have to get back to ya on that one! lol
You may also need to start figuring out your cycles. Usually womens most fertile day is 14 days after the first day of period and can become pregnant about 3 days before and after that 14th day after period.
Or you could just make a lot of lovin' and it'll happen when it happens... lol
Very much luck you to girl!

It is probably possible but not likely. I missed quite a few pills in the 3 years I was on them and took it when I remembered and I never got pregnant. The pills are usually in your system for like a week or something. It is a lot more likely to get pregnant when you miss like 3 or 4 of them. I think you should be fine.

Depends on how U wanna look at it ... Women get pregnant while on BC so it shouldn't really matter as how long you have or haven't been on. The thing is U should give Ur body about 3 months to regulate itself that way when U do conceive U don't have to worry about any birth defects due to BC medicine N can have a truly healthy pregnancy. Good Luck!

Sometimes I think it depends on how long you have been taking the pill. I was on the pill for 4 months and stopped taking it so I could have a baby and my period was regular the second month after. I would track your ovulation days because when you first get off the pill you will be irregular, but I was told to wait 1 month.

many people can get pregnant right away. Just start tracking your periods right away. Most women ovulate 14 days before their next period but not all. There are many websites that will help you track this. I love babyhopes.com it worked for me! also it tells you other tricks to conceive as soon as possible. Such as sitting with a pillow under hips right after sex. For 20 to 30 minutes. So the sperm will pool to the cervix right where it needs to be. Also don't rush to the restroom because ejaculate may flow out. GOOD LUCK AND BABY DUST *~*~****~*~*

I can't say how long you should wait to try, but I can say that in my situation, it didn't take long. My husband and I decided to stop taking the pill on our year anniversary, November 13. We went to Jamaica for New Year's Eve and I came back injured. In the course of my Dr's visit, I was given a pregnancy test and it was discovered I was pregnant. According to the Dr's calculations, I conceived December 8.

If you're in a rush, talk it out with your boyfriend and make sure he's committed to supporting you and your future child for the next 18yrs. If not, then you definitely better wait. Men don't do well with baby surprises and sometimes leave.
Or better yet, wait till you get married. This will be the best atmosphere to raise your child in. If you love your child, why wouldn't you want them to have the best...even if it means waiting some?

There is no "wait time." You can start whenever you're ready. However, I'd consider doing a bit of research first. If you REALLY want to get pregnant, you might want to chart, take your bbt every morning, and check your cm & cp. Check out www.fertilityfriend.com and sign up for the "lessons." They really do teach you a lot about ttc. Good luck.

Well I have heard of some women that just miss one pill and get pregnant so it could be possible to get pregnant right after you stop taking them.
