I hear there are several versions of the movie and many different books. I want to get the right ones. How do I know which are from the "creators" of the concept and not just the copy cats????

Good Question. Many people don't know that there are 2 versions of the movie!!! The Original Version had the "creators" (as you call it) of the Laws of Attraction in it. However, the people producing the movie wanted to market it to more people to make more money so they told Esther Hicks and her husband that either they would have to forfeit their rights to it or they would have to be cut out of the movie. They opted to be cut out and then the Extended Version was created to appeal to more people and make more money - but that is like only giving people SOME of the secret ... which is why so many people see the movie and then come away from it thinking it's about ~ wishing your way to happiness ~ which is completely wrong!!! But that is what you get from it without hearing everything. It's such a shame because those people will now be turned off to the idea because they missed out on the whole point, or at least the most important KEY points. SO.... If you are going to get the movie, get the "Real Version" - ORIGINAL VERSION OF THE SECRET with Esther Hicks and Abraham in it!
If you want to learn about the Laws of Attraction - Esther and Jerry Hicks wrote THE book on it: http://www.abraham-hicks.com/LOA.html. The Secret book is just an adaptation of the teaching of Esther and Abraham, so it's like the watered down version and while it may open people's minds, it's not quite as in depth as Esther and Jerry's book - so some people still get lost and miss the idea.
