I know the 8800 is a big boy and the M8100N Series by HP looks pretty cramped in there. I am just wondering if anybody has done it or know if it will fit in there.

It could fit but will cover the one remaining PCI slot. The other issues you should consider would be the power supply and case ventilation. Those cards draw from 9 to 14 amperes on the +12V rail. Ensure you have strong +12V rails; 30 amps/dual rail at least. Consider improving case airflow also once you have that monster card in there.

It will fit. You will, of course, have to take the current graphics card out. Also, I was unable to find any info about the power supply in this thing. Make sure you have at least 600 watts and you should be good though.

If it doesn't fit the configuration of your motherboard, forget it. Make sure it is the right card for your board. If it doesn't fit your case that is a different story. They used to make riser cards, and you can check into those, but I don't think they match the new pin-outs for the 8800.
