john mccain makes me think of someone that was kept in a basement and tortured and then somehow got away and got into politics....

... we do not want damaged goods like that running ANY country.

Thanks to all the veterans of every war!

However, that doesn't mean we should make them president. McCain is listening and agreeing with Bush ways. Bush is an idiot and got us in the mess we are in. Anyone that supports his ways and his thoughts SHOULD NOT be in office - are you ready for 4 more years of killings of our troops if they get in office - all business moving out of the US.

My dad was in WW2 and he hates Bush. He is an embarrassement for veterans. He cuts their health care and doesn't give them the needs to do their job. McCain was only one veteran and POW. You should hear my fathers stories about WW2 and what he observed at the near ending of the war in Germany. The camps and so forth. It took him years to talk about but he never tells about it to gain some sort of public sympathy.

I take nothing away from McCain's sacrifices for this country, but being a war hero doesn't necessarily mean you are the right person to lead the country.

I admire all our Armed Forces but isn't McCain the one who got help from Kennedy for that last Immigration bill ? I don't want a Kennedy puppet as President and I don't want someone who wants to give a free pass to illegals.

The BEST way to love someone- is to TEACH them how to take care of THEMSELVES. And the FIRST step you take in THAT process- is by EDUCATING people about the WORLD & HOW to get along in it. McCain is a War Hero, a pretty good Senator from my State of Arizona- & a decent man. But he's NOT been very good at explaining to Americans WHY they sould vote for HIM. And that's a BAD "sign". Because if he can't do THAT- then America isn't going to love HIM... -& we ALREADY have a President- like THAT. :(

You need to check into Ron Paul. Try youtube out for some information. McCain is a sellout.

John McCain has been of great service to our country and no one in his right mind would dispute that but I don't think he has the vision needed to run this country post 911.As for who should be our next president I don't know. So far I would vote for any of the people who have declared they are running. And by the way I have nothing but respect, gratitude and good wishes for our vets;but I don't support the war, I support the vets and they didn't put us in this war.

I Thank you and John McCain for your unselfish service to Our country. I have the utmost respect for John but my vote will go with Duncan Hunter who also has a past of serving Our country. I think he was in the 82nd airborne.

I actually think John McCain would make a pretty good president. He's such a loose cannon no one would mess with him because he'd either send over the peace corp or drop the H-bomb!
I'm afraid he's not politically smart enough (PC essentially) to get the support of his party.

John McCain is a great American. Unfortunately he's prone to taking bad advice.

No one.
He does love America, not a hypocrite like the Democrats. Most Democrats hate the USA.

(And I don't even like McCain, because he was against Tax Cuts, just like the Commie Democrats. And his McCain---Feingold Campign Finance Bill was a pure Hoax, and ignorant.)
