Never sure when they are going to attack you?
Never sure which of your neighbors they are going to form allies with to harm you...?
Never sure when they are going to take over your wife, kids and home?

Not so nice when it is brought to this level is it?

I'd prefer the U.S. over most countries. We have a better judicial system than most and when you think about it, one of our neighbors, Mexico, is impossible to keep out.

Nice picture, BTW. Much nicer than the avatar. :)

Would you like to have a Neighbor like Iraq. Never sure what kind of weapons they have, because he repeatedly says in public he has a weapons that will destroy your house, and that he will use them on you when he feels like it. (because you all seem to forget Hussein, and his cronies actually said on national TV that they had the weapons and threatened to use them on the United States. or How about a neighbor that always asks you for loans, and if you don't give your neighbor a loan he threatens to harbor members of a gang that want to kill you, which includes most of the middle east... wait they don't exactly seem like the type to help you rebuild your house either do they? It is easy to pretend the U.S. is evil because they're the most powerful, the simple truth is, none of the other nations have a better track record. The only nation that can boast a good neighbor award would be sweeden... and how many people really think staying neutral in WWII was honorable? Guess when you think about it, the world must be the ghetto, because nobody is safe from anybody.

I wouldnt mind. You act as if we target innocent people, as if 9/11 didnt happen and the radical Muslims didnt vow to take the US out. You want the 'down the street' parable. Here it is.
The big house with a lot of people is the US.
Several of the smaller houses as well as a big house or two represents the Arab countries.
One little house represents Israel (since they are neighbors to the Arabs).
There are a lot of domestic disturbances in the Arab houses, many result in death.
A little house called Palestine attacks Israel. Of course Israel attacks back.
One of the Arab houses sent a guy to blow up both the American and Israeli houses, as well as the British house, French House and Spanish house. American of course attacks back and also supports Israel due to sympathy. The Arab houses have gotten so out of control that the US house has to start policing. Why? Because the police force, the UN, is corrupt and usually very inefficient. The Arab houses are now targeting only women and children, so we have to fight harder.

You getting my drift?

The same can probably be said for nearly EVERY large country. I'm sure I can find something less than desirable in virtually every single country on the planet. What's your point? Other than trying to imply that the U.S. is such a horrible place. Hey, pack your sh*t and move on out if you don't like it.

Go ahead and report me.
I collect violation notices.

I think you've confused the US with Islamists. Everything you described has been loudly and repeatedly said by Islamists as THEIR goals.

Another case of switching the bait to try to pull the wool over everyone's eyes, is that what you're doing? Won't work.

If you were the bully of the neighborhood your point of view would be justifiably true. The other nieghbors should do something about you for the good of the neighborhood. If more of that went on in local neighborhoods they would be better to live in.

Willing to pour billions in if a disaster strikes

Feeds more than almost every other country in aid to the starving

Willing to put up with braindead miscreants that only find bad things to post about

I would have them in a second before I would have you.

unfortunately they're req'd to give plenty of notice & it takes forever to get any 'okay' on anything... and should they NOT want to hand over their playbook? well, shucks, that's just plain ole' unfair, gal' darnit.
logic dictates who they'd like to form alliances with, giving a heads up.
someone else take over that last one, as i'm coming up short & gotta take off here real quick.

and, to be honest, they ARE living down my street... down my street, nextdoor, around the corner, in my house, and in my heart.

hell yeah
just think about it they would give you free health care fix your leaky roof, mow your lawn, and even let you pitch a tent in their front yard and if they did hurt you in anyway they would make it right ten times over

not nice when you think about it that way is it

people shouldn't just focus on the few things they don't agree with and start looking at the big picture America is by far the best out there

Of all the possible neighbors available, which of them would you prefer? The large, rich, and wishing to be loved - USA - or any of the available selfish alternatives? Don't you want a neighbour who would rush to your aid if a maniac tried to destroy all that you possess and love?
I write this from England and refer you all to WW2.
