First, think about your charectors. What do they want? Is the maine charectors a boy or girl, lazy or hard working? What he name?

Get a notepad and pretend you are interviewing the mane chartor. Don't write the questions, just the answers and write them as if they are the one speaking. For example:

Say you are writting a story about a boy who wants to join a gang.

Why do you want to join this gang?

The Cliefs are tough! I want to be one of them!

Now, there are quite a few ways you could handle this answer. The boy could want to be tough so he can impress a girl he likes or he may think that joining this gang will protect him from a certain bully.

Why do you want to be tough?

I want Cindy to notice me.

Or:

I want to be tough so that Jake Deper can't push me around.

Do you understand the interveiw? Good, now that you have gotten inside your charectors head [you will continue doing this until you do know what else to ask by then you will know everything about this charector, even the kind of toothpaste he uses! lol!] you should keep a notbook with you always [while you eat breakfast, while you get dressed, while you go out to eat, even when you go to bed] and record possilbe things in your story, write down every idea that comes to you.

Next, you must know the end of your story to know where to begin. Like, in the story, On My Honnor [I forgot the author but i'll explain the best i can]
The author says she started the first rough draft with Joel and Tony riding to the lake, but she realized that if she wanted to end it with Joel and his father's realationship being put back together, she'd start it off with Tony wanting to go to the lake and Joel praying that Joel's dad will refuse. Instead he says yes and Tony ends up drowning. Joel blames his father for Joels death but doesn't tell anyone that Joel is dead until the end.

FOR YOUR STORY SINCE YOU'RE WRITING ABOUT TREASURE, i'LL GIVE YOU AN EXAMPLE.

Maybe, since your writing about a treasure story there could possilbey be a girl who loves to use her imangination and she gets into a fight with her mom because of it. Maybe her mother could start with her on this adventure and die being mad at her, saying that this was only her imagination, Then the girl would be determined to find the treasure.

Or:

It could be about a boy who loves adventure. It could be a heart warming action pack hit where he takes his friends on a journy.

Keep in mind:; Know the begining first then you'll no where to start.
Write down your ideas, and plan your story!!
Get inside your charectors head!!

Good luck with your sotry@! How old are you? I am writing a novel too and i'm 13. Tell me about it.

DON'T LET ANYTHING/ ANYONE STAND IN YOUR WAY!!!!!!!!!!
GOOD lUCK!!!

That's a well query considering there may be certainly a correct or improper to style fiction. Each style (similar to fable) has specified "tale beats" or factors that have got to be integrated within the tale to have it classified in a special style. Detective reviews, romance reviews, thrillers, romances, all have specified factors that must be reward. How the creator accommodates the ones factors is what makes every tale exact. Writer's Digest released a booklet referred to as How To Write Science Fiction and Fantasy via Orson Scott Card. If you are not able to find the money for to shop for it or order it at a book place then ask your nearby library to get it for you via inter-library mortgage and they're going to get it from one more library and feature it shipped in your library wherein you'll investigate it out similar to a consistent booklet. Writers write and writers learn. Read plenty of fable and browse approximately fable writers.

the treasure should be something that has never been used before because editors hate cliche plot lines. maybe it could be somehting that is pure, like it could be humanities only hope to live in peace but the forces that are trying to stop you really want earth to themselves and are waiting for humanity to get weak after war and turmoil.
you should start the story about the last key holder and how he was killed, by an unknown force, because he tried to stop something from happening... this intrigues the reader and starts them at a good tempo

The treasure should include the key that gets them back home!

(Not an original idea, by any means, but it gives the participants a desperate reason to seek the treasure)

i would go for the unexpected. or keep the secret treasure very vague. keep your reader guessing, that is the most entertaining part of a story...

a start? well personally i like to start stories by poeticly describing the scene. Using pethetic-phalesy (weather denoting emotion/mood)

Treasure can be anything someone values. It can be diamonds and gold, or it can be knowledge. Have you done your character analysis? What is it you think your characters would value the most? That is what they should be searching for. Pax- C
