any ideas of how to make some fake palms?

i need to gather around a parking lot ...it looks like this.._] if u get the picture....i has a biiiiigg entrance and i need to come up with just one.....any ideas...cheep?? anything will help..thanks

go to a carpet store, ask if they have any old carpet tubes,
[thats the tree],
make the limbs & leaves out of green plastic,
