How do you know if a guy really likes you?
I'm seeing this guy 4.. 3 wks now. He calls me, plays pool online almost everynight and says really nice things about me all the time. We have sex and go out. I need to know if I'm too spolied in realationships. In the past, I have had men I was dating to get out of bed at 2am 4 am and get me medicine for stomach cramps, bring/send me flowers all the time for reasons and no reasons at all. I have deal with chronic pain and am use to massages 2 times a day. If I need an item or something that I couldn't afford. I'm use to guys that I have dated getting or helping me get it. This guy that I'm seeing now doesn't do any of that. I feel that he doesn't really like me. Maybe just uses me for sex and company. I feel this way b/c he doesn't offer to bring me meds or give massages send me flowers all the time.He's Indian and I'm american. How do I know? Am I wrong to expect such kind and out of the way gestures from a man to feel loved and wanted?

Well just because he doesn't wait on you hand and foot doesn't mean he doesn't love you. Some guys just don't show their love that way, and if you think you can really be with a guy who doesn't treat you like a princess then stay with him, but if not, you should move on because it's not fair to you or him.

Maybe you have been spoilt (or lucky! :-)) in the past, but now is the time to see relationships for how they are. Some men show their affections in other ways, and by complimenting you, thats his way. Also, why have relationships gone sour in the past? maybe you take too much (not on purpose, dont mean to offend), what is it you have to offer? Dont rush this relationship, give a little, and just enjoy this mans company. Material things can never replace the kind heart of a good man!

If he is Indian as in from India,they have a much different culture. Woman typically aren't treated as well.
If you expect all these things going to the store at 3 a.m. massages 2x a day. I have one word....HIGH MAINTENANCE. and what special thing do you do for your beloved man? If you have to think about it,besides sex you may be a little self absorbed. Probably an attractive person though. Most of your letter reads like a job description of what your boyfriend should be doing for you.

Tbh after that description I would run a mile chick. If the only way you feel loved is to have someone buy you gifts then that is quite sad. If you have chronic pain then go to a physiotherapist don't just use your boyfriend as a skivvy. God bless whoever marries you because your gonna send them mad. Your not being played, your just not being a spoilt like a child.

You should expect those gestures, and, I doubt that he really loves you. 3 weeks really isn't long enough to start loving someone anyway. I don't even think it's possible for oxytocin (chemical responsible for love) to be activated in that time period.
You should not be having sex so early in a relationship. People will use you for sex if you do that.

From your description it is hard to say who is the player and who is being played, both of you sound like users. I agree with Moore from the UK, it sounds very said, and I am sorry to add, pathetic.
But, I have not answered many other questions here that I have read and all I can say is, you are in familiar territory with many of the other people here.
