If the car started, it is OK. Leaving the light on drains the battery. If it still had enough battery left to start itself, then just drive around for a half hour or so... the battery will just recharge itself to full capacity

It drains the battery, but, as long as you had enough power to start it, no damage was done. 2 hours is no biggie unless the temperature is well below freezing. The alternator recharges it on the drive home. People sit and listen to the stereo all the time in cars, or use the power for tailgate parties, and the batteries survive.

it drains the battery. Usually 2 hours is nothing to fret over if you have a good battery but rule of thumb dont let it happen again.

most modern cars now have a warning beep that lets you know when your lights are on. I have a 2002 impala and it dings if the lights are on and when the key is still in teh ignition.

Only drains it a bit. Eventually it will drain it totally and you won't be able to start the car cos the battery will be flat. However, just driving home would have charged your battery so it will be ok!

It discharges the battery. If the car cranked and started, then your ok. I would put the battery on charge overnight to be sure it is fully charged.

Yeah. It drains the battery! Does your car still start? If it does, you didn't completely drain it. I've done that myself.

it drains the battery... don't do it again or you might not be able to start the car and have to get it towed to get a new battery...
