Some things that I see on tv or hear about makes me cringe. Many times I have had people to use my kindness and have really hurt me. My grandma would always say, "you reap what you sow", but I wonder sometimes.

You don't need to wonder. You reap what you saw for sure.

You know, people think what is happening in the world is accurately reflected on television. If that were true, we would be doomed. I am constantly amazed by the kindness shown by people that I may not even like. They might be bad to me, but they are really good people doing a lot of good things for others. Sometimes people cannot interact well with certain people. So, being a person who believes in karma, I do not believe in leaving baggage around by complaining about them too much.
The news and television tends to show us the worse parts of life, but the world keeps going because there are significantly more good things going on. Keep a steadfast heart, keep the faith, and continue to perform good works. Keep the light shining in the darkness.

Many people are cruel because of the invironment they grew up in. Take the muslim extreamists (IM TALKING ABOUT EXTREAMISTS IDIOTS NOT ALL MUSLIMS IN GENERAL) they use children to protect themselves from US sodiers because of the invronment they grew up in. To them thats perfectly natural and right.

for every action there is a reaction. cruelty can be described as a feeling of lack of concern towards suffering. what happens to people is the result of their own actions.
