So i have taken vitex for six months in order to help balance my hormones. i have seen some improvement. wondering though if the vitex could actually be increasing the time it takes for me to ovulate. dont know if i should only take it after i ovulate eventhough i do have low progesterone.

If I were you, I would use the Vitex from the first day of your period til ovulation is confirmed--either 3 elevated BBT's or 4 days after Positive OPK.
Then on the evening of either the 3rd high temp or 4 days after pos opk, I would start using natural progesterone cream. Walmart sells the Rexall brand for $12-13. You use 1/4tsp twice a day from ovulation til your period comes. If you get a pos pregnancy test-KEEP using it at least through the first trimester.

that's a really good question, whether or not the Vitex could be increasing the time, if you can try asking your doctor so you can take it in a way that helps u, you can also ask an RE (fertility specialist) online for free to see what they think about this, try www.FertilityTies.com
good luck!
