I think Al needs to step down as head-honcho. Need some fresh blood at the front of the line.

Al Davis isn't the problem. Many people point to his "meddling" as the reason things are bad. Well, Oak had the worst O last year, but the #3 D at the same time. So what, are you going to tell me he only meddles with the Defense or are there other factors?
That, and we're seeing signs of new life in the Raider O...

If by winning you mean more than 8 wins in a season, it may take a little while. They have a great defense as show cased last year, and with Culpepper looking like himself they have a chance. I feel like their offensive line is still too weak and until Al Davis dies or sells the Raiders, he will keep making horrible choices for the team. He needs to pick a good head coach and Gm and hope they win. They are close, but not that close.

The Raiders on in the rebuild stage. They have a really good defence and the offence is coming along. If your a Raider fan just be patient and watch them get back to the Raiders of old.

I predict Oakland wins a Super Bowl before Detroit does...Because Oakland has a defense...if they add some offensive weapons...they're gold. If they can get Darren McFadden next year and some offensive lineman...they could be a playoff contender as early as 2008!!!! Yeah, thumbs down me for saying that. But Oakland has one of the best defenses in the league. Easily a top 10 this season. They just need to pick up the offense and they're set to roll into the playoffs.
Is it awkward saying that? Yeah...but it's true. Oaklands D keeps them in games...they just can't score to win them.

Some would say when hell freezes over but i say in around 8 years. in eight years the greatesr QB may be Brady Quinn or Vince Young.
Brett will still be Chasing records
Vick will be out of jail
Troy AIkman will try to comeback
Tony Romo will be fumbling plates at his house instead of snaps
Cajuns Jake Delhomme and the Manning family will own Bojangles
Nike will have the NFL contract
Nike will serverly abuse the NFL contract
Nike will buy the NFL
Conan O'Brien will be the commishiner
Barack Obama will finish off his presidental sentence with John Edwards as his vice.
The NFL will buy the AFL and name in NationalAFL
IN EIGHT YEARS ANYTHING WILL HAPPEN

Al Davis ought to stay out of GM/Head coach employer plenty as attainable or sell the team to somebody else. truthfully scuffling with a branch with Broncos and Chargers itself is hard

To my untrained eyes, I see that there is only one way for the Raiders to be considered a winning team again. I know it's gonna be tough, but the only way that I see them being able to shed the label of loser, and be a winning team is errrr.... to win more games than they lose.

I think its time for Al Davis to put the team in other hands. They need to draft a strong core of players and secure that offensive line.....I don't see them making much of a leap until 2013....
