Could it be that good food and exercise bring out more of a woman's beauty than plastic surgery and anorexia?
Why cannot the Hollywood starlets understand this? I swear, if one of them collapses, whoever is there to call for help will waste valuable minutes trying to figure out whether to call for an ambulance or home delivery.

Hey it is what the industry wants. They tell them, 'if you want to work, then you need to weigh this amount'. I saw an actress once, (name withheld), and was kinda excited to see her. But when i saw her i was SHOCKED at how unbelievable thin she was. It was a little gross and i haven't been able to look at her the same way again. With that said, the industry wants these ladies to look this way for media. Sad but true!!

Oh yes....as long as it is organic, too .....and they should stop hitting the peroxide ...and they might go to Sun Valley to get some color and a little fresh air ... .all the old stars had their own looks and their own glamour ... and none of them was skinny, not before Audrey Hepburn, any way....and Twiggy the English fashion model ... but the men are just the same ... no glamour these days ... aaaargh!

They should eat more but the minute they do the gossip magazines print banner headlines about how fat they're getting and show unglamorous shots from the side or above. It's a no-win situation for any starlet.

some of them are too thin, and the problem is that young girls emulate that look, check out the kids on this site always asking if theyre too fat and if people like their ribs to show. It's really unattractive for grown folks to be bony, next stop in the desired look is concentration camp survivor.

Texican, It's all about the money, and the "perception" that the Hollywood morons want the younger set to emulate !!!!
For the younger set to believe that the "actors and actresses" are setting a "standard", they are !!!! However, that standard is UNHEALTHY, DEMORALIZING, AND DANGEROUS in it's execution!!!
Have you noticed that the Hollywood set, are predominately SOCIALIST / ULTRA LIBERAL in their political stances???

People in Hollywood have a lot of pressure to look thin, so it's not a surprise that many of them become anorexic. I think they should just eat and excercise.

Audrey Hepburn was naturally very thin just as Jackie Gleason was just a very funny lard azz. Just kidding. JG was an excellent actor and pool player in his own right.

The truth is that actors and actresses are out there presenting a fantasy of what people want to see NOT the reality of what is, and if you're too stupid to know this well then you are also living in a fantasy world.
