My son had the same problem, I feel your frustration I tried everything, to make the situation better. Unfortunetly I had to live with the problem because everything I was told to do did not work. I must of went through fifty bibs and twenty changes of clothes a day. Some of the things that I was told to try (that might help your baby) were
Try burbing after every ounce of milk they drink, that worked for me when he was a newborn but once he got older he would get upset everytime I took the bottle away to burb.
Try a lactose free or soy base formula they are gentler on the stomach I also tried the enfamil for babies that spit up, that one was ok it didn't take the problem away but seemed to ease up a bit. The reason why I didn't like that formula was because it is only available in powder form and the bottle had to sit for five minutes after it was mixed. Very stressful when you have a screaming baby and having to wait five minutes which seemed like years sometimes.
Try more frequent feedings and having your baby sit in chair for 10 minutes afterwards.
Hopefully once you start your little one on solids that will help too.
I hoped I helped you out my son is eight months and just stopped spitting up two weeks ago. Sometimes you just have to live with it but I promise you it will go away. Look at the bright side at least you can use up all their clothes that they get and say that you got good use out of them. Or if your mad at somebody pass him over to them after he eats, he should give them a good surprise I use to do that to my mother in law (just a little humor)

are you burping your baby? maybe not enough,it needs to be done after every couple of ounces at least.try this if he will not burp on your shoulder set him on your lap with one hand firmly across his belly lean him forward and gently but firmly pat his back.babies really need to be burped.i cannot believe how many people have their babies on medicine for this.if this doesn't work try giving him a little peppermint water.take a few ounces of water place in the bottle and place a piece of peppermint candy in shake it a bit and let the red dissolve off the candy.remove the candy and toss it out.let the baby drink this it should help him burp.or try those gas drops they sell for babies.keep the baby out of wind that will gas him up also.and do not let him drink a bottle and suck air cause the bottle is empty it will cause gas and a tummy ache.if this doesn't do the trick change his formula.burping is very important and it must be done.try sterilizing his baby bottles and make sure his milk is fresh.do not leave it sitting out for long periods of time.it will sour and make the baby sick.if all else fails and the baby is fussy walk around holding the baby and run the vacuum cleaner.if this doesn't help please take your baby to a different doctor.good luck.congratulations on your baby!

My 2 month old has the same problem and what we do is we give him 2 tablespoons of rice cereal in a once of forrmula at every feeding and gas drops every 4 to 6 hours and when we have burped him we put him in his bouncy seat or his swing fo about 30 min after every feeding or elevate his mattress in his crib so he is in a raised position. But him having reflux he will continue to spit up but when we do the above he spits up less he will eventually grow out of it we are told by others who have experienced the same thing.

Talk to your doctor about probiotics - you can find them at your local health food store. This is a supplement which has been shown to help with digestive issues, and recently has been proven to help with colic in infants. It may help with the gas and spitting up.

Try offering shorter feedings more often throughout the day and then sit him/her up in the bouncy seat or swing. Not sure when you can give gas drops...ask your pediatrician.
