anybody know what album it came out on? I found it on the London Years box set. Also, what year did it come out?

Well, here's what I could find (not much!). "Stoned" was actually the first ever Stones original release. (Sort of. They basically ripped the music from "Green Onions" by Booker T. & the MG's.) It was released in 1963 as the 'B' side of the single "I Wanna Be Your Man," (a gift from Lennon and McCartney) and on the "Singles Collection: The London Years," also 1963. It actually has a few lyrics - "Stoned ... out of my mind ... here I go ... ah, yeah ... Where am I at? ... yeah, yeah." The drug reference got the song banned from airplay in the US, and most everywhere else. The lyrics were sung live, getting the Stones banned from future performances in many cities, and all rock concerts banned completely from Cleveland in 1965. Appearantly, Mayor Ralph Locher didn't like "Satisfaction," either!

Hope this helps. I found it all very interesting. Thanx for the question.
