Defensively they will be among the best in the Big 10. The back 7 is simply loaded this year even without Poz. The offense on the other hand has question marks all over the place. Morelli has to prove that he can play like he did against the Vols. Williams needs to show why he was a top notch recruit a few years back and become a star WR opposite side Butler. Scott needs to become a solid running back to take the heat off of Morelli.

I think they could win as many as 10 games and if the offense doesn't gel as expected they could end up with 8.

FIU, Notre Dame, Buffalo, Illinois, Indiana, Temple, MSU you can already put in the W column. Purdue and OSU I think they have the advantage over especially playing them at home. Iowa could be a problem but again, they have them at home. Michigan has their number and it will be very hard to come out of AA with a W. Wisconsin is a total toss up game for me. I respect the Badgers but we might have been fooled with the 12-1 record they had because their wins didn't exactly wreak of great teams.

Another good year for Penn State. I expect them to do no worse than 8-4 but I think they may be 9-3. I do not expect them to beat Michigan or Wisconsin but I think they can beat ND and or OSU. Very favorable that three of those four key match-ups are at home and Michigan is not invincible in the big house...

I think they go 10-2, just like michigan, OSU and Wisc. They will kill ND, and as much as I hate to admit it, they should beat OSU, only because the game is at Penn State. When the teams are close, the home team seems to win that match up year in and year out. With their defense, there really isn't anyone in the country they can't beat.

They have a chance, but they have to play Michigan in the big house, which is going to make it very difficult. I'm pulling for them though.
