I have been having LLQ, its sharp for a few seconds then goes away, for 3 months now. It used to only occur before my period but now its happening afterwards, as well. ALso happens when I put pressure on that side, ex: I put strain on that side while getting up. I have had an untrasound and it was negative for cysts of tumors, cancer, etc. Ive had a pap smear this year and the NP found nothing out of the ordinary on the slide. I am very worried because during my last visit my dr recommended I take advil for the pain. Meanwhile my periods are way lighter and shorter than before. I have also noticed that I have a milky yellowish discharge. Please help. I know that this will sound familiar to someone out there.

Some of your symptoms can be an indication of endometriosis but I would definitely recommend getting another opinion and preferably from someone that does not share the same office of the doctor that you currently use.
