I just bought my Mac Book, and I don't know how long I should charge it the first time before initial use.

Just use it while it's plugged in. There will be a little thing at the top that tells you how much of a charge the battery has. If you plug it in turned off, the battery will be charged in less than two hours. Longer if it's turned on.

I think you just charge it all the way up (until the light on the MagSafe Adapter thing turns green). I think there is something also about calibrating the battery, so you might want to read the owner's manual...
