shiny it is more reflective... keeps the aliens from stealing your thoughts.

I think the shiny side would reflect and keep the aliens and bad thoughts and influences from getting into your head. LOL. I don't know which side you turn up for cooking. I just use it. LOL.

I just double the foil unless it is heavy duty. I seal foods tightly and steam them. There is no special side for me. Instructions from years ago would have been given to us, from family, friends or somebody, but we use the foil in any manner that we can. It is a Godsend. The Lord daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19.

best side for cooking is dull side for your food, shinny side out ( i am a chef ). to get rid of the alien influences it is suppose to be the shinny side according to the movies.

Dull side out... It works for me.. but you have to be sneaky about it.. if they see you putting it on they can de-aluminize it and then it's actually turned into a brainwave scanner... so be careful.. be sure to twist a knot in it at the crown of your noggin... If not .. it's all for nil...
