Some people simply don't care as they feel that they are gonna do whatever and say whatever it is that they feel like saying without even thinking twice before doing so. It's kind of sad actually as there are people who end up getting their feelings hurt and the people who are jerks sit back and laugh at the whole thing. I always try to be nice and respectful to the asker as I realize that there are people on the other side of the computer screen and not just avatars.

I have it on good authority that many of the people here really are little cartoons.

I never forget and always treat them as I would anybody else in my life. I have friends here that would be a little offended if I forgot they were real. lol
