I loaded the software, but how do I use the space as additional RAM. I expected a driver or something to do that. Thanks.

you can only do that in windows vista. AND it doesn't really speed up your computer that much. The difference is so small you won't notice it.

What software? You don't need software to use a pen drive in Vista just a high speed formatted USB 2.0 pendrive. When you put it in you should see the option to use it as ready boost. If you have Vista and you don't get that option you may not have a fast enough pen drive as not all 2.0 pendrives are fast enough to use as Ready-Boost in Vista. You will not suddenly see 2 more GB of ram using Ready Boost, its just a memory cache. You also need a pendrive that is at least 1 1/2 times the size of system ram for Ready Boost to be effective. If you have 1GB of ram it will speed things up--if you have 2GBs it won't!

You could right click on "my computer" pick "properties" click the "advance" tab, pick the "setting" button in the performance box, hit the "advanced" tab in the performance options window, pick the change button in the virtual memory and choose the flash drive for virtual memory.
After all that, you wouldn't like the results. A USB flash drive is way, way to slow to act as decent ram.

Yo, this wont be like 2gigs of new RAM but 2gigs of virtual memory which wont speed up your pc much.

In my computer, right click on the drive and select properties, under hardware select your flash drive and select properties, under policies click 'optomize for quick removal and enable disc caching.
