I believe, considering the amount of population growth and the unfortunate growing acceptance of pornography & prostitution amongst the society and maybe the growth in abuse towards women I'd have to say a strong YES.
And I also agree that it goes for both sexes in this day and age. But it all depends where you are, like in a busy CBD area or a uninhabited street (wouldn't recommend the latter though).

can't the same thing be said for men? look at the way we idolize good-looking male celebrities and musicians. they have followings of fans willing to wait around until they do stand still.
while women still bear the brunt of it, i think the door does actually swing both ways on this one.

hahah! I know so, the other day my 15 year old cousin was crossing the street and had about 2 creeps stop and bother her, she was in her school uniform, properly dressed, minding her own business..women have been so over sexualized in our society even the young girls aren't safe, think about it, women in Africa can walk around topless with no problem.
