Why doesen't glue stick to the inside of the bottle?

Glue needs air to dry. The new heavy duty glues (Gorilla glue and Elmers Ultimate) tell you on the label to squeeze out the air from the container before putting the cap on.

glue sticks as it is exposed to air and dries. if you keep the bottle sealed it won't dry and therefore won't stick. if you let the cap off for a long time, then the whole bunch of it will harden inside the bottle. or maybe it's special plastic - lol
