I had two big guy friends-- a wrestler and a football player- who loved me like a sister.
They would stick up for me in anything-- dang, I wish I could have had them stay with me like that for ALL of life...
Did you ever have anyone like that? Or were you the protector?

I was always the protector. Everyone knew not to mess with the people I considered good friends.
I even stood up to the teachers/principle when it came to them. Of course that got me in trouble most of the time, but it was worth it. I can take a lot, but I won't stand for anyone messing with the people I love.

When I was in grade 3, I got into a fight with the biggest boy in my class and I slapped him. That made me win the fight. From that point on, my reputation was made. No one messes with me. The fact that I was much stronger than most helped too, I guess. So, no. I didn't have a protector. I didn't need one. I would have loved one when I had a stalker though. (I do mean in real life)

My best friend in high school was a girl named Colleen. We had known each other since the 7th grade, and she was my protector! Guys and girls wouldn't mess with her. She was about 6 feet tall, and well built.

I had a habit of pissing people off lol

I had this pet flea, Murray. Murray had incredible strength as well as a great way with people.

Murray always seemed to get me out of a jam... and boy was I a handfull.

I don't know what ever happened to that rascal... but I sure do miss my protective flea, Murray

I love number 19: "You can send telepathic messages to your mom to tell her to pick you up just as you're finishing your breakup song with your boyfriend." I was thinking the same thing while watching the movie.

I was the protector. There was this one girl who was really naive. Farm girl, overprotected at home, never got to go anywhere.
Boys in our class used to send her notes. Asking her to meet them at the park, etc. Just to laugh at her reaction. She always thought they were serious.
I bawled them out, several times. Tried to shame them.

nope ... there were two guys that tormented me a lot in soph year PE class ... by senior year, one of them sincerely apologized to me, which impressed me ... the other one .. dunno.

I wasn't psychically strong in early days .. didn't back down or run away, but didn't know how to deal with the situation
