I bought a fourteen-day free trial for W.O.W at Target, and I installed it on my computer. When the fourteen-day free trial is over, can I buy a 60-day time card and continue my account, instead of starting a new one?

Yes all it does is update/upgrad your account to a paid account. Get to keep the same login, characters etc but now you will get to do more things. Buy stuff at auctions, use mail system, trade with other players and get past level 20. MKy husband I and both play and love it. Glad to see more people playing.

You can continue with your account, you'll have to buy a full account first, but that will let you continue with your existing characters. I think the FAQ section on the WoW site has good answers for this.
