1) Don't drive underneath a fuel tanker.
2) Don't drive off a cliff.
3) Don't drive into a frozen lake or pond.
4) Don't drive 100 mph and swerve to hit a tree.
Those are some tips that I've learned from my many years of driving experience.

sure.
Driving is a full time job when you're behind the wheel. It REQUIRES 100% of your attention in order to know what's going on 360 degrees around you, especially in front of you.
Anything that diverts your attention from driving (eating, phone, text messaging, hand dancing to the stereo, flirting, farting, impressing your passengers, etc) diminishes your ability to drive defensively.

Always be aware of your surroundings. Motorists can speed up, slow down or totally be oblivious to you too. Watch out, there's a lot of numbskulls out there behind a wheel.

Keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel. That means don't talk on the phone, text, or play with the radio. Don't speed and don't tailgate.

I would say from experience, no medication when you need to drive. Without us realizing it., eye sight calculations could be somewhat off track and slow our reactions down.-----bettyk
