Hi, I'm asking this on behalf of a friend, who's running XP.

He's having issues with the size of everything on his computer, it's like everythings been blown up.

We've tried everything - fiddling with the monitor, changing the text/window size in properties, and we've tried changing the resolution but it won't move from 600 x 480.

It's been like this for some time.

Help!

The video drivers are wrong and Windows has gone back to the default resolution. You'll have to find the drivers from the manufacturers site. That would be whoever made the computer if it's built in video, or whoever made the card if it has one.

Yo, to change this setting, on the desktop right click. Under appearance, click on the font size section and change it back to normal.
If this doesnt work, under advance in the same window there will be an option to set the font size for each of the various window features. This will be under items.
In case it's everything else, your video drivers needs to be re-installed

Reinstall video drivers.

Without video driver Windows XP default size is 640X480.
