You could just say no.... or look deeper into the wording used in the question?!?!?

Or you could say that yes if a bird had one wing it WOULD fly in a circle.

Same as saying that if a bird had one wing COULD it fly in a circle. Thats when you'd say no, because it couldnt fly!

The question is not asking us if the bird could fly. It assuming the bird can fly, and asking would it fly in a circle.
Well if the bird could fly, then with only one wing it would fly in a circle... surely?

No, birds need two wings to fly.




Plus even if it could fly with a single wing, it wouldn't fly in a circle.

It wouldn't fly at all. We have a goose with a deformed wing and he has never flown, though he's tried often. He gets a few feet off the ground and then crashes to the side.

No. It needs two wings to fly. It wouldnt get off the ground with one wing.

No.Two wings are necessary.Once their was an injured Bluejay in my yard and had a chance to hand feed it.

Yeah,but they spiral up. Then get tired and drop back down.Some,the real strong ones, have gone so high the oxygen gets too thin and they pass out and just drop back down,'til they wake up again. It's not easy, but they make it.
I admire them. They are tough birds

you must mean that it would spin on the ground coz it wont get in the air with one wing

That would be pretty fun to watch...Oh yeah...that's why they invented cartoons.

I doubt it would be able to get off the ground...but if it did, sure :D
