I have a Dell Dinension 3000 I got it for Christmas 3 years ago, but if I was gonna get a new computer this year for Christmas, I would choose a new iMac. Mostly because iMacs have way less wires and clutter! I hope this was helful advice!

get an iMac... i used one at work... i've had a Powerbook, lasted 5 years... never had one problem... i currently have a MacMini... it's good too... i'd really suggest the iMac... they are powerful, and don't take up much room... the G5 is for serious computating and unless you need the power, they are pricey...

It depends what you want to use the computer for. if u just want it for word publishing and the internet and music then it's a good choice, but if you want it for games then i wouldnt advise getting an Apple computer because they only play a certain range of games and this could be a drawback if it didnt play your games.
