Over the past few months my tongue has turned brown in the centre and at the back. Any ideas as to why.

could mean that you're anemic. Meaning that you aren't getting enough iron in your diet, which is necessary for your body to build red blood cells. This lack of red blood cells causes less pinkish tongues as well as lowered energy and being easily fatigued. Talk to a doctor about it and maybe take vitamins with iron suppliments or eat more things with iron.

No idea why but it doesn't sound good. I would take a trip to your GP.

Herpes, liver or gall bladder disease are possibilities. See your GP for correct diagnosis.
